Hanna worked in a kindergarten in her native Melitopol. On the first day of the Russian invasion, she went to work despite the explosions. Upon returning home, she began to equip the basement and prepare for the worst. Together with her neighbors and family, Hanna was forced to hide in the basement. Gradually, the electricity went out, and then partially the communication. In total, Hanna spent 7 months under russian occupation. It was just before the so-called “referendum” that she was able to leave for the government-controlled territory.
