Hanna’s family was caught up in the war in Donbas. The family stayed under fire for four years and moved to Dnipro. A few years later, however, they faced a full-scale invasion. The girl witnessed several horrific shelling of the city and the shooting down of missiles in their neighbourhood. But what hurts her the most is being separated from her family. Hanna has not seen her elderly grandparents for several years. They live in the occupied territory. The unfinished family house, which Hanna’s parents started building before the war, is still there.
The girl told her story during her rehabilitation under the “Rinat Akhmetov to Children”.
