Olexandra Reshmedilova is a political scientist, PhD in Philosophy, lecturer, and journalist. With sad irony, she recalls how on the eve of the full-scale war she was making predictions about a possible attack, yet reality turned out to be far more terrifying. The very next day, a missile fell right into the flowerbed in her yard, becoming a dreadful symbol of the new reality. From that moment on, the days merged into one endless stretch – information defense on television airwaves and volunteering – without sleep and without pause. The war has hardened her, but it has also made her more sensitive to herself and to those around her, leaving inside a simple yet stubborn dream: one day, to hear for the last time, “All-clear from the air raid alert.”
