On February 25, a student Anastasiia came to help out at the Mykolaiv Emergency Hospital. There was a catastrophic lack of manpower. And she stayed there for a year and a half.
"I firmly believe in Victory. How can one not believe in such people?"
The hospital received over a hundred wounded on her first day. When Anastasiia raised her head at 4 a.m. she realized that no one had slept or eaten yet – people were running on pure adrenaline. She has been saving lives, crying over horrific injuries, and rejoicing when young soldiers regained consciousness. She has been convincing the guys that they would survive, and they did survive. The price for this is inevitably burning out. Nevertheless, getting used to such scenes is simply impossible.
