Oleksandr Kivenko

“I was shell-shocked while delivering food to the guys. I lost my sight”

Oleksandr is a native of Avdiivka. He resisted the occupiers from the age of 14. Figures of those killed over 8 years of shelling reach a thousand people.

In 2022, he sent his family abroad but stayed to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He sustained a terrible trauma when he brought food to soldiers on the front line. The concussion cost him vision and partial hearing loss. But Oleksandr hopes for the best, he believes in victory. Currently, he lives in a modular city in Brovary.
