Veronika was making her way out of Severodonetsk with her mother and her grandmother, who cannot walk. Adult diapers - that's all the luggage. It was impossible to stay in town anymore. A shell that hit the roof of the house forced all the occupants to go down into the basement. Veronika left thanks to her son, who paid 1000 hryvnias for each seat on the bus. She recalls a military man helping her grandmother by moving her from the floor to the front seat at the first Ukrainian checkpoint.
