The large family of Oleksandr, a clergyman in the village of Mykulychi, found themselves under occupation at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. During this time, their house was hit six times. The family, along with 46 other villagers, was forced to hide in the basement for 11 days. They cooked their meals at night on the street and then, risking their lives, delivered them to their neighbours. Twice the family was threatened with being shot. Oleksandr sincerely believes that each time he was saved by prayer.
