I don't leave my grandson even for a couple of hours. Andrii can't eat, drink, or talk. He sometimes behaves very strangely. This nightmare has been going on for almost 19 years. Grandson became disabled when he was four months old.
When shelling began, he suffered a very strong reaction to what was going on. I had to give him two injections in the morning and in the evening. There were times when injections didn't help – we would get down on our knees and pray to God, because he thought we had no other hope.
I help my daughter raise him. Andrii needs a 30-degree temperature in the house. Otherwise he is tormented by cramps and pain. When the utilities rate increased, I pay for electricity UAH 1400-1500 per month.Â
We live on the line of contact. We don't know how to pass the winter without money or medicine.
