“When the war is over, the first thing I’ll do is go to the Donbass Arena”

We received land from the village council, 1000 square meters each. And we began to build with my previous wife. Only the basement was built and then we divorced. It was hard. Then I got along with Valya, my second wife. At first we lived in the basement. The girl went to kindergarten, our daughter. And she said that the children there did not believe how we could live in a basement?

When the first room was finished - it was so much joy! The children were happy, still small, we had two children. So much joy! We got black and white TV - we were jumping. Dominoes, books, nothing else.

Then the kitchen was made, then some furniture was bought - all this was joy. I often tell my friends: the gypsy guessed for me that I would build all my life. They do not curse; they say: so that you build all your life. I do it myself.

Here the bathtub was finished. My wife was almost flying for two months! Because to buy is one thing, but to do it yourself as you want, as you have the money opportunity, is another.

In 2015, when Vostochny was bombed on January 24, a shell hit our yard. The funnel still remains. At that time, 30 houses were damaged. Of course, we had all the windows, all the windows and doors blown out, greenhouses, siding ... But, thank God, everything was restored.

The wife and children were in the house. When the heavy shelling began, she jumped out in what she was wearing a dressing gown. And this was winter! She covered the children with a jacket. And they fled under fire. The soldiers helped them to overcome the distance, closer to Vinogradnoe. They put her in a car ... She got so stressed that she could no longer live here.

Now we are used to it. It happens that we work in the garden - there are shots. Well, we continue to work quietly. But when the house already begins to shake, then we go downstairs. Of course, man is such a creature - he gets used to everything.

When the war is over, first of all, of course, I will go to the Donbass Arena and look at my favorite team. Let's encourage them together, the miner's song will sound. And we will remember how we lived, and we will think about how to live even better. Personally, I am an optimist.
