Arsen Sych

"Little Arsen survived by a miracle. His brother, mother and grandfather were killed by the occupiers"

The story of Arsen Sych from Makariv, who survived by a miracle during the evacuation with his grandmother. His older brother Tymofii was killed by the occupiers together with his mother and grandfather.

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Arsen's father was not with his family, trying to contact them. Only after some time he found out what his youngest son had been through and that he had lost his wife, son and father in Makariv.

It is difficult to describe what 11-year-old Arsen and his grandmother experienced when they were leaving Makariv in the car. But despite his age, he has become incredibly strong and courageous, and now he never cries again.
