"I use rainwater to cook food"

I escaped from the village of Hranitne three months ago. Constant shelling forced me to leave my home. My house is located on the line of contact, near the bank of the Kalmius.

I use rainwater to cook food

I do not know if the house was undamaged. I just know that it has been pierced with holes from fragments of the shell. The second shell fell near the fence, blowing off the net.

I constantly cry when I remember what has happened, when I remember how helplessness I felt. Lack of money is the most terrible thing for both internal refugees and local residents. We can only rely on humanitarian aid.

I haven't received my pension of UAH 1,000 for six months. I use rainwater to cook food, because there is no running water in the house.
