In 2014, Olena, a choreography teacher, lived in Donetsk. She remembers the "thugs" at rallies and the Russian security forces who entered the city, the illegal "referendum" and the sense of impending danger. Together with her family, the woman moved to Kyiv. She could not even imagine that later the war would cover the capital.

For the first two months of the full-scale invasion, the woman lived in the basement of the school where she worked. In the spring, the school resumed its work online. Olena recalls that returning to work supported her personally and gave her inner strength. Happy eyes of children inspire Olena today too, because working with children allows her not only to switch, but also to feel the benefits of her business and the meaning of living and moving on.
