Iryna lost her daughter and small grandson in Mariupol. The tragedy occurred on March 13, 2022. The Russian military dropped an air bomb near the residential building.

“My daughter died immediately. As she sat in the chair, she never got up. Tymofii was at the coffee table. Still wheezing. They tried to save him. My husband and I ran to the hospital. But it was too late. We put our daughter and grandson in black bags. Unfortunately, we could not bury them.”
