"I did not let my daughter leave the house"

We haven't been home in over two years. They left Donetsk in August 2014. Constant explosions and "bangs" made the child cry. We don't have a basement, there's nowhere to hide, and by the time you get somewhere, you may just be hit.

We settled down in Sviatohorsk. Local authorities gave us a room in the Sosnovy Bor recreation and retreat center. My daughter, four-year-old Lisa, began to smile again. I am calm, because children can go out here.

I did not let my daughter go outside - I was too afraid" This is because the shooting could start any time.

When we arrived, indeed, it was very difficult. We managed to survive thanks to the humanitarian assistance of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.
