Alla first encountered the war back in 2014, when she left her native Donetsk for good. She moved to Kharkiv. She faced the 2022 invasion in Kyiv. She had to leave again, but by Easter, Alla returned to the capital and, starting in May, began leading a full-day group. The Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth had a shelter, so it was safer there. And it is precisely working with children, being responsible for them, that is Alla's greatest motivation.
