Vasyl Kasianov is a 26-year-old physical therapist who went through the hell of war. Until March 23, he helped save the injured residents of Mariupol in City Hospital No. 1.

Wounded people rotted alive. There were not enough dressing materials. It was not possible to provide sanitary conditions in the hospital. The wards smelled of manure, faeces and urine. During a shelling, a patient with an amputated leg crawled from the upper floor to the basement.

The hospital was supposed to introduce joint endoprosthesis in April, but all the equipment burned down.
