Bohdan Koval is a musician and bard from Mariupol. He had been surviving for a month and a half on the very line of fire in the basement of a multi-storey building. Several dozen people were hiding there, including a girl with a newborn baby.

Bohdan has vision problems, and he did not see the horror of war, but he felt everything. He was very worried that an aerial bomb would fall nearby and the basement would turn into a mass grave.

After the evacuation, Bohdan wrote a song about his native Mariupol: "The City That Doesn't Exist". Each line contains the unrelenting pain of the lost city. Despite everything, the man believes that he will return to Ukrainian Mariupol.
