“The children were so scared that they could not control themselves”

Hanna’s village in the suburbs of Chernihiv became the line of demarcation between our troops and the invaders. The main thing for Hanna was to protect her ten children – two of her own and eight foster children. “The children were so scared that they could not control themselves.” The family had a plan and they stuck to it – to survive for the sake of the future.
