"Almost died in the summer of 2014"

We are internal refugees from Avdiivka. Now we live in Dnipropetrovsk, where we rent an apartment. When all social benefits were cancelled, we couldn't afford to rent an apartment, so we packed up to move closer to home — to Krasnoarmiisk.

We still remember how we almost died in the summer of 2014. Our apartment in Avdiivka was damaged by shell fragments. My daughter Mariia lost her leg, and my grandchildren was wounded by shrapnel fragments. Having had many surgeries, they spent six months recovering in the hospital.

I really dream of getting on a  Krasnoarmiisk-Avdiivka train and go home, even for a little while!
