Hanna Yastrebova

“It was horror, it was tears, but I understood that if I, the chief nurse, give up, the girls would also start to panic”

The elder sister, Hanna Yastrebova, spent 92 days in the hospital. Because she couldn’t help it. She became an example for other nurses who did small miracles every day, saving lives. They wrote directly on the wounded the medicines they injected, went out into the corridor and there they sat exhausted right on the floor. But each time they got up and ran again to save lives. Hanna was awarded the title of Honored Health Worker of Ukraine.
