He lived in a city by the sea for almost a century. But in March 2022, 87-year-old Slava Honcharenko had only a few minutes to get ready to escape from his native Mariupol. He and his whole family were able to leave the burning city... He dreams of returning to Mariupol. But he doesn’t know where to return: his house has already been demolished...
