Alevtina Shvetsova

“For the first time I told people that their relatives were gone”

Alevtina Shvetsova, a travel blogger and journalist in peacetime, made thousands of Ukrainians and guests from all over the world fall in love with Mariupol. Before her eyes, the city was wiped off the face of the earth. When a bomb fell right next to her house, Alevtina decided to save her family. She took out her parents during the shelling, without a corridor, at her own risk and peril.
