"Мy parents were ruthlessly killed by Russian scoundrels"
The family lived in Irpin. Volodymyr was ill and could no longer move independently. This did not stop the Russian military. They shot the family home with an APC, destroying it to the ground.
"Friends, I am very grateful to everyone for their help in finding and supporting… But, unfortunately, today the volunteers who were near our house confirmed that my parents were ruthlessly killed by Russian scoundrels…," – wrote Lviv Opera conductor Ivan Cherednichenko on March, 29.
"My parents gave their whole life to me and my brother… everything they did thay did for us… I will never forget it… Mom, Dad, we love you and you are forever in our hearts!", – wrote their daughter Darina Piven.
