Last winter, shells exploded near our school. I went to the sports club I attended. Together with five friends, I tried to escape by running out into the corridor.  We all had one idea – to get out of here in one piece.

I was one of those who was wounded during the shelling of Mariupol. A fragment pierced my right shoulder blade when I was standing in a meter distance to the window. It ricocheted off the wall and hit me. I felt as if I had been hit with a large stick.

"I went home myself with a torn wound and in a state of shock. My mother met me on the street and immediately saw that I was pale and shocked. I told her I was injured.

I had an operation. Doctors removed the fragment. Then I started restoring the motility of my right hand. I had to take sedatives.
