"A strange woman spoke into the phone, "Your child has been injured"

Vladyslav:

We heard a very loud explosion. They immediately realised that something bad was about to start. We ran away. First, we could hear explosions in the sky. Then we could hear them on the ground. Everything started to explode. The boy's shoulder was cut off, and I was hit in the leg. We started to panic. When I was running, I felt like something had burned me. I didn't pay much attention to it. I just ran to the entrance to hide. But then, when I came running, I looked at my leg and saw blood all over my pants.

A strange woman spoke into the phone,

Mother:

When the first explosion sounded, I immediately began to dial the child. But telephones were already disconnected. We couldn't get through. We tried to get through, but it was pointless. Then telephone lines were restored, a woman said on the phone, "Your child has been injured."

A strange woman spoke into the phone,

Vladyslav:

We went to the trauma unit first. But there were a lot of people there. There was no room there. Then we were transferred to the burn room. A surgery began. They had to remove fragments.

It was terrible. People died there. I don't really want to think about it. It was very scary. It felt like we were going to die. That's all. I was hit in the head and leg by a fragment. Thank God, I had a hat. A fragment remained in it. A person is generally defenseless. It takes one second for a person to get killed.

Every night when I lay down, I thought that something was going to explode. I couldn't even walk. I couldn't run right away, I couldn't jump.

Mother:

When will this be all over? When will they stop killing civilians, especially children? Why do children have to suffer?

A strange woman spoke into the phone,

The child is afraid of strong sounds, even if firecrackers explode. This brings fear in him. He is afraid to be somewhere far from home, because he keeps thinking. What if such a tragedy happens again. He has nowhere to run.

Vladyslav:

Rinat Akhmetov gave me a three-week trip to Zaporizhzhia for rehabilitation. I had massages and water treatments. I had everything to ease the psychological and physical stress.

A strange woman spoke into the phone,

Mother:

I would like to express my gratitude to Rinat Leonidovich for the fact that he does not forget us, that he provided us with medicines from the first days of the tragedy. Thank you so much for giving us a trip to the sanatorium. This helped the child a lot. Our family couldn't have done it without him.
