The melody of ancient Ukrainian folk instruments resonates in the halls of the Museum of Theatre, Music and Cinema Arts of Ukraine. Among them, a research worker Svitlana Mezina feels like a fish in water.  The museum worker notes that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, interest in Ukrainian traditions has grown. People began to look for their roots and take an interest in folk heritage. The museum’s collection includes more than 600 unique instruments, and their historical context is now more relevant than ever. Together with her colleagues, Svitlana plans to present these treasures not only in Ukraine but also abroad, so that the whole world can see how powerful and distinctive Ukrainian culture is. The museum worker tells her own story of the war and the revival of Ukrainian culture through music and traditions.
