Viktoriia Chebotariova faced full-scale war with her teenage son and mother in her native Mariupol. She could not imagine that Mariupol would simply be destroyed. From February 25, 2022, the three of them actually settled in a basement. They only came up to the surface to get some air. The shelling almost never subsided... On March 18, they decided to flee. A new life began in Dnipro. The Chebotariovs are one of 35 families who were given asylum in the City Social Hostel, created in Dnipro on the basis of the “I am Mariupol” center…
