The russians inflicted several blows on the village of Borodianka, near Kyiv. From March 1 to March 3, 2022, the occupiers dropped unguided FAB bombs with a charge of 250 to 500 kilograms on residential areas. Half of the high-rise buildings was damaged by them. The debris fell into the basement where people were hiding.

This is how Tetiana Bukina's relatives died – her son, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, and their friends. After the de-occupation of the village, 41 bodies were recovered from the rubble. Tetiana herself escaped death at the minute. Two of her grandchildren were orphaned. Currently, the woman takes care of them.

The pain of loss has not subsided in two years. Tetiana has just decided to tell the world about her experience and entrusted her story to the Museum of Civilian Voices. This is her first interview since the tragedy.
