"More than 50 shells were fired at our village during the day"

Our village is located right on the front line, only a few kilometers away from Mayorsk and Horlivka.

We still remember with horror January 31, 2015. In one of the houses, three apartments were burned down at once. We calculated that more than 50 shells were fired at our village during the day. Then five residents were killed. And it's not safe to stay here today.

In my house, the windows were broken, and the walls were riddled with shrapnel. All the neighbors left because of the fighting, I'm here alone in the house. Looters come here regularly. I take care of my neighbors' property at my own risk, and I go around the apartment several times a day. If you leave the house, it, like the neighbor's, will be dismantled into bricks. So I'm not going to leave. I am sure that as soon as there is peace, people will return here immediately.
