Volodymyr Popov is the son of Tatiana Popova, a well-known doctor in Kyiv, the founder of the Homeopathy Center, and the first homeopathic pharmacy. She also died during the war in the occupied neighboring Irpin. She was buried in the backyard of the house as Russian invaders stood in Irpin, killing civilians.
Homeopath Volodymyr Popov himself had not been in touch since early March. He was found in a house in Vorzel by his brother.
"My brother did not get in touch. He was shot in the back in his own house. The body was doused with gasoline and set on fire. The Heavenly Kingdom to the son of God, Volodymyr. May his path be bright and his soul be in the place with no pain and sorrow," – Demyan Popov wrote.
Volodymyr was only 53 years old.
