"Had the child been on husband's lap, the stone blocks would have fallen on his head"

When the fighting for Rubizhne began, Viktoriia, her husband, and her one-and-a-half-year-old son moved to the city outskirts to live with her mother-in-law. They heard that street fighting was already taking place on their street. Then, a shell hit the basement they had been hiding in. They miraculously survived, having been injured by stone blocks from the fallen ceiling.
