Her death came as a shock to everyone. How Doctor of Science, teacher and professor Liudmyla Shevtsova passed away.

After the attack on the Kyiv high-rise building, the Russian media wrote that the "Budanov bunker" was destroyed in this way, and this greatly outraged the relatives of the victims, including the daughter and granddaughter of Professor Liudmyla Shevtsova. For the first time, they will tell us what an incredible person their mother and grandmother was.

Liudmyla Shevtsova was a lecturer at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor. At the age of 84, she worked and led an active life, researching the fauna of irrigation systems in the South of Ukraine. A month before the tragedy, Liudmyla would have turned 85. But on January 2, 2024, the professor's apartment in Kyiv was hit by the fragments of a Russian missile, killing her.
