Six-year-old Masha was undergoing surgery when a russian missile hit the children's hospital in Kyiv... The girl survived, but her grandfather Volodymyr was among the many victims. At first, little Masha's mother did not want to talk to journalists, but later she found the strength to share her story to honour the memory of her father, a devoted patriot and a caring and honest man who always put his family first.
The photo of Volodymyr's granddaughter, taken by Telegraph photographer Yan Dobronosov after an enemy missile attack, went viral. It became one of the evidences of the russian crime. Later, Berlin stylist Frank Wilde posted this photo on Instagram. In this way, he wanted to draw the world's attention to the events in Ukraine.
