On  February 24 2022, Serhiy was one of the first in his town to come as a member of the volunteer force to the territorial recruitment centre, but he was not recruited. Currently, the man is on the energy front, working as an electrician at one of DTEK's enterprises. He says that all the employees of the plant are like one big energy family, supporting and helping each other. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the company has repeatedly been under enemy fire.
