Artem is from Northern Saltivka. This district of Kharkiv is the one most frequently shelled by the russians. From the very first day, the boy learned what it meant to be hit by Grad rockets. At first, the family moved in with his grandmother, and later - with a family friend. Artem found solace in drawing - it calmed him down and gave him the strength to endure the stress.
The most terrifying moment came when a shell hit the building where he lived with his parents - just two entrances away from their apartment. After that, Artem and his family left for Kyiv. He now attends a local school and dreams of returning to Kharkiv.
