“I write songs, poems, and try to follow in the footsteps of my elder brother who died”

Semen lost his brother in the war. He was a real role model for him. After Davyd’s death, Semen followed in his footsteps, and he also writes poetry and songs.

To honour the memory of his fallen brother, Semen took part in an essay competition organised by the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.

Semen lives in the Chernivtsi region, where the situation is calmer than in other parts of the country. He recalls his experience of volunteering – he made trench candles.
