"I was bandaging my son and his friends after the concussion"

The road near the house was covered in blood... in 20 years of working as a nurse, I have seen a lot, but the day when I had to dress my own son and his companions, I still remember with a shudder.

My son Vadim is 12 years old. This summer, he and his friends almost died in an abandoned store. They found three small cylinders filled with something in a sand pit. They threw two of them in the fire and burned them. The third one exploded.

The children were concussed. Their eyes received burns, and fragments of shrapnel are still in son's body. The first month after the concussion, Vadim moved leaning on crutches. The wounds did not heal. After a course of rehabilitation, they started to heal.
