“ I was screaming that they would be bombing us now”

The war began, and there was constant shelling. A small church had been built near the entranceway to our house, and then it was bombed. Explosions were heard constantly. All sorts of shots, sometimes shells hit the houses.

I became very afraid of loud noises, when the helicopter was flying. My mum told me, when we first arrived here, and when a helicopter was flying over the boarding guesthouse, my mum said that I was screaming that we were bombed, that they would be bombing us now.
