"The explosions had an impact on the health of the child"

Ihor has suffered from diabetes for two years out of five years of his life. We were unable to leave the city before the fighting began. And everything that was happening affected the baby's health. Certainly, all this affected the level of sugar. We heard explosions at a distance of 700-800 meters. When shells fall, we all feel  unsafe, because we can hear it all very distinctly. Surely, Ihor was scared.

The state program that deals with free prescription of free medications for diabetics in the uncontrolled territorie was terminated a year ago. There is no imported insulin in Donetsk pharmacies that Ihor needs. We can't afford the rest of the medicine either. Packaging with test strips costs UAH 280-300. We need 4-5 such packages per month. It is very difficult to earn this kind of money.
