Yevhenii Stasinevych is a literary critic and a literary scholar. On 25 February, having sent his daughter and father to the safe Kovel, he went to the checkpoint, the first one from the Kyiv district road in Borshchahivka. He remembers those days with a smile because there was a lot of enthusiasm but little organization and understanding. Nevertheless, people came, who could with what. Someone with a pick ax, someone with an air pistol.

In a week, he was already lecturing. It turned out that the job that Eugene is engaged in, during the war, has become even more relevant.

At the same time, the man began to volunteer, to help find the medicine. First in Kyiv. But gradually the geography expanded. And trips to Kharkiv began. With a completely different atmosphere – with shelling, fires and bodies of dead people. Yevhenii dreams of walking the streets of Horlivka known for him since childhood once again. And to see the Crimea again as part of Ukraine.
