Vira Sokolova

"We managed to get out into the hall, and heard: the glass was shattered!"

On the eve of morning missile attack, Vira cleaned the room. Intuitively she moved some things as far away from the window as possible. Vyshneve, the suburb of the capital, was in the epicenter of shelling. An entire neighborhood was affected. Vira and her family hid first in the hall, and after arrival, they went down to the cellar. On the morning of January 2, 2024, several high-rise buildings were damaged in Vyshneve. Including the Sokolovs' house.
