"Doctors said that I was lucky to be alive"

We didn’t think that it would be like this ... My friend and I went for a walk to the training ground, found a shell, decided to take it apart and get gunpowder. Then a flash - and I ended up in the hospital, in intensive care. And my best friend died.

Surgeons removed almost 300 small shell fragments from me. There is still a fragment in the lung - the doctors decided not to touch it.

Twice I took rehabilitation courses. They treated a lung, helped to restore damaged joints. Doctors say that I was lucky to survive and I have good prospects to return to a full life.
