Iryna Zhavoronkova

"We believe that God saved our lives"

In the town of Vyshneve, as a result of the morning attack on January 2, 2024, several apartment buildings were damaged by missile debris. The residents of the entire neighborhood found themselves in the epicenter of explosions. Among them is the Zhavoronkov family. The couple has three children. All of them were in the corridor that morning.

A powerful blast wave shattered the windows and doors in the apartment. But fortunately, the debris hit the walls. Iryna was praying at that moment. She believes the prayers saved her, her husband, and her children from the worst.
