The Russian soldiers invaded the village of Vorzel of Kyiv region in the first days of the full-scale war. For over a month, the village had no electricity, gas and communication. Dozens of people were on the verge of survival.

Mykola Volosianskyi, a priest of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, and his wife Liudmyla provided daily help to those in need. Several Vorzel residents were killed by Russians in the first weeks of the occupation. One of them was a physicist whose body the occupiers did not allow to be taken away at first. But later, Father Mykola managed to get permission to bury him. Unfortunately, this was not the only victim of the war, Liudmyla Volosianska recalls.

In the fall of 2022, Protopriest Mykola Volosianskyi left this world. His wife testifies to the terrible times of occupation.
