Only walls remained of our house in Donetsk after the attacks in January 2015. Our village of Oktyabrskyi on the outskirts of Donetsk was constantly under fire. The house cannot be restored since it has been registered as a summer kitchen. I lived there for 20 years with my children.

Now we, a family of four, are huddled in a rented one-room apartment. My father was concussed by a shell explosion, and now he needs constant care.  Because of his illness, he can't  go outside.

We spend almost all of our money on medicines. There is nothing left for food.
