“Suddenly I heard shells outside the window”

I have lived in Donetsk since I was born. I was doing rhythmic gymnastics, which I adore. I have been practicing it since I was three years old.  I dreamed to become a rhythmic gymnastics coach and go to the Olympics.    I had lived peacefully in my city for another four years. When 2014 began, my parents told me that we should move to another city.

Thus, we settled in Mariupol. I was thrilled to know that there is a school of rhythmic gymnastics. A year has passed.

One day I heard the shell sounds outside the window. I was very scared - and the next day we decided to move to Sloviansk.

There was no room for my hobby. My world just collapsed. I was soaking with tears for a very long time. All my dreams just faded away.

Luckily, I found a dance studio, and I began to practice.    I decided that I wanted to be a choreographer. I understood that was what I craved for. Thus, I lived there for four years. Now I am 12 and i am happy that I found my solace.
