Valery Moskovets and his granddaughter were killed by a russian shell in his own home during the shelling of Dergachi. Valery Ivanovich was the ex-vice-rector of the Kharkiv University of Internal Affairs, where he headed the trade union.
"Responsive, friendly, always ready to help, charged others with his infinite life energy," – recalls a former colleague from the University.
Valery Moskovets had extensive practical experience in law enforcement.
