“On the first day, we could already see Russian helicopters flying"

Bucha, in the Kyiv region, was under occupation for 33 days. Russian tanks reached the downtown area on the 27th of February 2022 and left the city on the 31st of March. The invaders began shooting at civilians from the moment they entered the city. They would park close to people's houses, observe through the fences, and if they saw someone looking out the window, they would immediately fire a burst of automatic weapons at the fence. Bohdan lived in the conditions of constant explosions and terror of the invaders for more than two weeks. He managed to leave through the 'green channel ' to Kyiv.
