Yurii Polyvyanyi

“I have nothing. I lost my city, my house, my documents, my property, everything”

Both towns where Yurii Polyvianyi lived were almost completely destroyed by the war. Yurii lived under fire for ten long years. First, the frontline town of Popasna in the Luhansk region. Until one incident completely turned the former hunter's life upside down. A shell smashed his house, and all his property and documents burned in the fire.

Then the man moved to Avdiivka. Soon, the russians overran it. Yurii was wounded there, and volunteers took him to the hospital. After an unsuccessful surgery, he became disabled.
