Vladlena left Luhansk because of the war in 2014. After numerous relocations and a difficult journey in search of a new home, the war caught up with her in Kyiv, just as Vladlena was preparing to become a mother. The first days of motherhood passed to the sound of explosions, through sleepless nights and anxiety for her newborn. Yet despite everything, Vladlena did not leave Ukraine – because she knows well the price of a lost home.
